What your child learns

  • Comparing two groups of objects: more, fewer or the same
  • Recognizing and using the >, < and = signs
  • Comparing numbers within 10, then up to 20
  • Saying the comparison out loud, like "five is greater than three"

How to play

  1. Look at the left and right sides; the empty box in the middle is for the sign.
  2. Tap one of the three sign cards below, or drag it into the empty box.
  3. Pick the right one and the crocodile chomps toward the bigger side and reads the answer aloud.
  4. If both sides are the same, pick the equal sign. A right answer on the first try earns a star.

For parents

  • Share the trick: the crocodile's mouth always opens toward the bigger amount.
  • It starts with small groups that differ clearly; as your child gets answers right, numbers and equal pairs appear.
  • Count each group out loud together before choosing. After two wrong tries, the right sign blinks as a hint.
  • Progress and difficulty are saved on this device.
