Spot the Difference
Two pictures, almost the same. Can you spot what changed?
What your child learns
- Looking closely and comparing two pictures part by part
- Noticing changes in color, size, position and objects
- Focus and patience to find them all
- Naming everyday things in a park, garden, playroom, beach and kitchen
How to play
- Press "Play now". Two pictures appear side by side (stacked on a phone).
- Tap a difference on either picture. When you find one, it gets circled on both pictures.
- Find all the differences (the dots below) to finish the picture, then a new one appears.
- Stuck? When the light bulb button glows, tap it for a hint. On a computer, the arrow keys and Enter work too.
For parents
- The first pictures have just 3 obvious differences on big objects; as your child gets better, there are up to 6 slightly subtler ones.
- Every difference is big and clear, never a tiny detail, and easily confused colors (red and green) are never used for color changes.
- Tapping at random brings a short pause before the next tap counts, which encourages looking before tapping.
- Ask "What changed here?" so your child practices describing it: bigger, a new color, gone, or moved.
